The Coalition of Professional Institutes for Career Development (CPICD) had its genesis in 2021, when a group of far sighted professionals and academics identified the need for a peak body to be formed that would promote contemporary professional education and career development issues to government, private and community sectors, and provide models of best practice. The policies to drive professional education forward as a critical component were articulated in 2022 was registred in 2022 to contribute to national and global issues on professional education and career development.

Our Members are committed to supporting everyone at all stages of their working lives, and proud of the positive impact Professional Education and Career Development creates in the lives of their clients. We support each other in developing and improving delivery of equitable access to professional, ethical, informed and individually appropriate Professional Education and Career Development services.
